SV Consulting wishes Happy New Year to all our clients and visitors. In the beginning of the new 2001 year, we are proud to present SQLConnect 1.2.1. The new version contains Import dialog, which allows you to import tables from other databases to the database you are currently connected to.

Other modifications include: added sample connection parameters for different databases, improved UI documentation, bug fixes, including a major ODBC connectivity one, etc.

It is finally out - a brand new, easy to use, powerful Query Designer!

SQLConnect 1.2 started shipping with its latest Query Designer that helps you build simple and complex queries in similar fashion. You no longer need to be an SQL expert to use SQLConnect. In fact you may know very little or no SQL to start using version 1.2 of SQLConnect. Double clicks, right clicks, drag and drop actions are working together to help you design the queries which will bring the data back from the database in a form that you require.

Another exiting new feature introduced in SQLConnect 1.2 is the ability to save project files that will remember your connection settings plus the list of queries that you've already built.

The new version of SQLConnect allows executing updates from the command tool. Along with SELECT statements, now you can execute all kinds of update requests including CREATE, INSERT, UPDATE, DROP, ect. statements.

Besides the ability to update the database, we've included some other features to make the product even more user friendly. Starting from version 1.1.6, SQLConnect will remember your settings (i.e. the position of your windows, the maximum number of records returned, etc.) even if you restart the application. Also, you can do "Redo" and "Undo" operations when typing your requests.

Based on client requests, we improved our "Browse Tables" modeless dialog. With SQLConnect 1.1.5 you can now get information about almost all objects in your database, including schemas, tables, fields, indexes, etc.
