ODBCj 1.1

D ownload ODBCj.zip and unzip it. This is an evaluation copy of the product designed for development only. If you would like to use it for commercial purposes, please go to the Purchase page to buy the product online.

U nziping the ODBCj.zip file will produce an ODBCj directory. In that directory you will find:

• The main ODBCj.jar file. This file contains all the classes you need to use ODBCj.
• Docs directory with an API documentation of ODBCj.
• Test program (TestODBCj.jar) that helps you quickly evaluate the product.

T o jump start evaluating ODBCj, double click on TestODBCj.jar and a test GUI will be launched. If double-clicking does not work, open a command prompt and navigate to the ODBCj directory. Then type:

java -jar TestODBCj.jar

Java Runtime Environment

G o to www.javasoft.com to download the latest JRE. ODBCj has been tested only with JRE 1.3 and later, but it should support earlier version of the JRE. Make sure you have the java bin directory in your PATH.
